Process for Internal Assessment (Timeline Varies according to cases)
- MSC Cyberport's Account Manager to assist client in preparation of 3 years Business and Financial Plan for FREE*.
- The Account Manager of MSC Cyberport & MDeC guides and revises the client's MSC Malaysia application and business plan.
- The Account Manager of MDeC evaluates the Commercial & Technical aspects of the proposal along with a financial analyst.
- Due Diligence by MDeC – on 3 years business plan
Process for Formal Application (Timeline 30 Day Guarantee)
- Formal Application by client
- 3 copies of business plan
- Application form
- ROC documents
- 3 year audited report of substantial stakeholders of the company
- A non-refundable processing fee of RM2,000 to "Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd"
- Issuance of Letter of Acceptance by the Account Manager of MDeC that triggers the 30 day countdown guarantee of notification on MSC Malaysia Status application.
- Approval Committee Presentation – The Account Manager of MDeC presents the client's application before an Approval Committee.
Process for Approval (Timeline 7 – 8 working days after the AC Presentation)
An Approval is given after the Ministries of Finance and International Trade & Industry agrees to the recommendation made by the MSC Malaysia Approval Committee.
Process of Post Approval (Timeline Indefinite)
- Activation of Financial Incentive – Pioneer Status or Investment Tax Allowance
